The photos below represent the "Arky Standard" closed-reed distress calls. Each call is meticulously turned and tuned by hand. Please note the turned-bell configuration, as I believe a thinly-turned bell produces superior sound. This call feels good in your hand. This is tuned so that it will produce distress sounds from very low volume to very high volume. The louder you blow this call, the nastier it gets. I cannot over-blow this call. All Arky closed-reeds come equipped with a JC Reed Co. stainless steel .0020 double reed for excellent hand-tuned sound. A superior call in the closed-reed world.
